Today there are a host of conventional tiger tours to choose from, but we offer something different.

This tour not only provides some of the best tiger sightings possible, but is also led by India’s most experienced tiger researchers thereby offering our clients a genuine insight into tiger behavior and research, which this trip helps support.

Whilst the focus of the tour is very much on the tigers themselves, you will also have the chance to search for a whole range of fascinating animals, including leopard, sloth bear, wolves, wild dogs and jungle cats as well as the myriad of colourful birds who live in the dense forests and spectacular gorges found in the parks of Madhya Pradesh - India’s “Tiger State”.

During the trip you will cover a range of activities, including guided walks with park rangers, undertake animal and pug mark census, meet local communities living near the parks, spend time with the park elephant team, enjoy night safaris, traditional game drives, elephant-back safaris and the chance to meet experts behind the tiger research projects themselves.

One trip to India can never hope to reveal all its natural wealth but our tiger study safari, offers you the chance to go beyond the conventional wildlife trips and offer a tiger trip like no other.

There were eight tiger subspecies at one time, but three became extinct during the 20th century.

Over the last 100 years, hunting and forest destruction have reduced tiger populations from hundreds of thousands of animals to perhaps fewer than 2,500.

Tigers are hunted as trophies, and also for body parts that are used in traditional Chinese medicine.

All five remaining tiger subspecies are endangered..To enquire about the Tiger conservation projects, please click here
